Amazing house in a great location. .............some issues raised with the owners agent were not addressed which is disappointing. The cleanliness on arrival was poor. The fridge had a horrible smell and there were heavily infested fly papers hanging from the ceiling in the kitchen.

Lovely spacious property in a beautiful setting. The negatives were as follows.... the hot tub we used only once as you had to physically lift off the heavy cover and also the water was not clean! The kettle had a brokenmissing switch but was still useable. Flies were a real nuisance despite the zapper in the kitchen and by the end of the week we were over run. Over than that we had a wonderful stay in this beautifully converted spacious and comfortable property.

An absolutely stunning space that was well furnished, comfortable and clean. The house is spacious and there is plenty of furniture in bedrooms that allows for clothes to be hung and put away. The beds are comfortable and there is a feel of luxury about the place. We had glorious weather and so we were able to make good use of the patio area and the hot tub. The caretaker was able to solve the two problems that arose swiftly. The house folder contents would be even better if there was information about the surrounding area, places to walk, places to visit and places to eat had we ventured into the villages. We did throughly enjoy our week and certainly May book again in the future.

We checked in for a party of 9 adults one child and two dogs for Christmas. Overall we enjoyed our stay here it was spotlessly clean and very spacious. There was plenty of space for all of us inside. The property has plenty of parking and lots of space for dogs to run around. It is situated in a beautiful area with some lovely countryside walks. Loved the hot tub this was used every evening. The was a couple of small issues first with the drainage at the front of the property where waste water was slow to drain. Slow drainage and poor water flow in one ensuite. There is No outside lights near the hot tub or the path walking up to it very dark at night and when walking back there's a big drop at the end of the fence where the slope is. You have to be careful when walking at night. A torch is definitely needed. The fence could be extended to where you turn to walk down the slope. These faults did not affect our overall stay and I would highly recommend the property and we would return.

We have had the most amazing few days spent at the Saw Mill. I booked it for the family inc 2 toddlers & 3 dogs for my sisters 60th bday. Well it blew us away the moment we walked through the door. It has been furnished to such a high standard loved the mezzanine floor & the original saw mills . The amount of space in each room was amazing especially the living & dining rooms. The place was spotlessly clean & we spent each nite in the hot tub. My only criticism is there isnt an outside light by the hot tub. The outside gardens were great for the dogs & even had sheep as our neighbours. I would recommend this property over & over again & we will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay

The property had to many problems that wasn't dealt with. My daughter got locked in her bedroom. Another bedroom and bathroom door didnt close. The showers overflowed and the toilet backflowed into them. We had problems with the heating. The tempature dropped to 2c the house was freezing. The Thermostat upstairs read at 15.9c whilst downstairs was 13c. The hot tub was dirty and smelt. Know instructions was left for appliances. Garden furniture was soaked the whole vist. The gate wouldn't close as the wall is ready to collapse. Calls and texts was ignored. I have photos and video's to show the problems. Rubbish hadn't been collected from previous guests

This was perfect for what our group of 8 friends needed to get away and catch up for four days. Clean, spacious and had character, would definitely come back.

We have had a lovely stay. Thank you so much . The house is absolutely stunning. Very spacious and comfortable and we loved the quirkiness of the saw mill . We were disappointed that there was no lighting in the hot tubbbq area making it a hazard after dark. Also storage for the cushions would be an idea as they were unfortunately soaking wet during our whole stay. We had 4 dogs who enjoyed the big spacious gardens however as the front gate was broken off its hinges we had to drag it across and put boxes in the gaps to stop the dogs going on to the road. Overall, me and my family had a fabulous weekend.

Our whole family was able to stay for the weekend at this beautiful mill including our dog! Upon arrival access into the property was really easy and self explanatory. The mill was clean and smelt very fresh. The mill is a great size for 10 people with huge garden and outdoor space we were even able to enjoy playing rounders and other sports on the field. Contact to the host was also very easy and we had everything we needed and more. Beds were huge and very comfy. Overall, we all had a lovely weekend full of family time which is exactly what we made the booking for! Something to bear in mind would be the flies which do become annoying but when in the countryside I suppose it is something you cannot avoid but it is worth mentioning especially if your with children and have the doorswindows open. Hot tub needed chlorine adding and smelt when we first got there. Flies were a nuisance especially in the kitchen with all the food, etc.. Location was good and the forest was lovely to walk about in. Rooms were clean and good sized. we enjoyed our stay despite the flies.
