We loved our holiday at Waggoners Cottage, such a stunning location, with lots to do within an hours drive. Mrs Tildsley was friendly and welcoming, if you break or damage anything during your stay, then PLEASE let her know, so she can sort it out! Sitting in the hot tub overlooking the gorgeous views, with swallows and red kites flying overhead is so relaxing. And knowing that the hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled for each set of guests is a definite plus, as not all cottage owners do this as we discovered at a holiday cottage last year. The welcome pack was much appreciated too. One note regarding the flies, which yes, there are lots of. However, by keeping the windows closed and putting up some fly traps, we managed to eliminate them. They certainly didn't spoil our holiday. Also, the farm collie dogs are gorgeous and very friendly, but for those who don't like dogs, this may not be the best cottage didn't bother us, we loved them, but just a warning for non dog lovers. Overall a fabulously relaxing place to stay.

We just returned from a wonderful stay at Waggoner's cottage. The cottage was beautifully furnished and made even better by the stunning views, which the pictures here do not do justice to. Our kids loved being right next to the cow field, which was a lovely surprise for them. The hot tub was a real treat, spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Its clear the owners take great care in keeping everything comfortable and hygienic for their guests. It was lovely meeting Jennifer, and we hope to return again soon!

Waggoners cottage is in a beautiful location A thoughtful welcome basket left. Everything to hand . A lovely stay. Our only one negative comment is in regard to the toilets. The toilets take a very, very long time to refill after flushing which can be difficult

This was our 5th stay here. The view is spectacular and Jenny is lovely and friendly. Would recommend this cottage . Sitting in the hot tub looking at nothing but fields with young animals lambs and calves jumping around was wonderful .

Absolute stunning view, and cottage very clean especially the hot tub that would fit 6 comfortably. Lots of flies but a working farm and fly trapper provided, fridge and oven door needs to be fixed. A guest book would be great for recommendations etc The owner is lovely nothing too much trouble. Would be great to have additional towels would definitely pay extra for these too could be an option for the hot tub and mop so can keep floors dry. Logs provided for the lovely log burner which was a great touch, kept us, warm and cosy. Had to take showers baths at different times as not enough hot water for the 5 of us at once. However a fabulous peaceful stay would definitely recommend.

Such an amazing little place on a working farm. We have now stayed here once or twice a year for the last 5 years. I actually dont want to give a glowing review because I would like to keep it all to myself. Fantastic cottage with the most amazing views along with all the home comforts and a lovely hot tub to sit out and soak up all up. Beautifully clean and comfortable with lots of little lovely touches. It is on a working farm which we enjoy all the animals and walks in the countryside. Cant recommend it enough .

We had a wonderful stay, the cottage was the perfect place for our family of 5 to meet up and have a relaxing few days, everything was perfect. A wonderful personal greeting from the owner who talked us through everything from the recycling, woodburner, use of hot tub and central heating. A beautiful location, comfortable cottage with everything we needed for a great stay. The hot tub was a massive bonus and we used it often. Thank yuo for a super stay, we shall return!

The cottage was absolutely lovely. Very clean and tidy. On arrival. The hot tub was a lovely touch to the property as the view is splendid day and night. Overall, if youre looking for a nice peaceful few days away, this is a lovely property and has everything you need to make you feel at home. I do have to mention one thing and that is the photos which are displayed is showing the property on the website does not do justice as the property is furnished lovely.

Waggoners Cottage was lovely just as per the web site, the owner Jennifer met us upon arrival, and showed us around the cottage. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Absolutely stunning views from the patio, we had daily visits from Jennifer the check the Hot Tube and have a chat about the farm activities.

We were greeted by IvyVera and she was friendly and gave us a thorough tour of the cottage and showed us how to use the hot tub etc. There appeared to be lots of rules around the hot tub, including only using it for half an hour at a time. We were asked to sign a contract agreeing to this also prior to using the hot tub . The positives are as follows Fantastic views and the cottage is well located centrally to access most of Wales easily. Lots of wildlife birds etc in the garden as well as the sound of sheep and cows which added to the experience. Bed was comfortable. Cottage was well furnished TV, kitchen and utensils, washing machine etc Negatives The driveway was hazardous for us as it was all gravel not good for motorbikes as we all nearly came off on several occasions sliding about on it. As mentioned above the hot tub and the rules. The shower was quite dated and not powerful although did the job. The upstairs bathroom had no lock on it. This is a simple job and I would have expected it to have been done to avoid any embarrassment when someone is using the bathroom and someone else walks in accidentally. The owners had some farm dogs Collies and although they were very friendly, we noticed that they used our garden as a toilet and on one occasion we almost stepped in some poo!

The host was very friendly and welcoming, the cottage was lovely and had everything that we needed for our stay with amazing views. It's a great location for exploring the area and it was bonus to hop into the hot tub after a day of sight seeing. Would definitely come back again

I have visited this cottage several times over the years. I have always been impressed how clean and tidy it is and how good the facilities are. The views from the cottage are outstanding and to sit in the hot tub looking out over the hills is great. The owner is very helful and friendly and checks regularly to make sure all is OK. Finally the area us very good for walking ,Shopping and visiting historic places of interest.

The welcome pack was minimal and no milk, no cleaning clothes to use, we had to buy some. The log fire smoked so much we had to open all the windows and doors, needless to say we did not use again. The location was beautiful though and serenely peaceful, sheep and cows and lovely bird life. The hot tub was well looked after and it was lovely to sit back and enjoy the views of Wales.
