We had a fab time, lovely property, clean hot tub. The pub is just across the road, fab food and friendly staff.

A lovely cosy, clean and well maintained cottage. The shower cubicle had a dispenser of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel which was a nice touch and the towels were big enough to wrap round you which is a bonus when you are a little rotund. The only grumble was that the toilet was downstairs. So had a few cold trips in the night especially having been across to the Stiperstones Inn for a lovely pint or two. The food is also lovely there. Our two dogs were made welcome too. It was a very enjoyable stay with plenty of nice walks and places to visit.

We had a lovely week at the hayloft. The cottage is well equipped, comfortable and the welcome pack was a very nice touch. The views from the bedroom and kitchen were great as you could see for miles with nobody overlooking. A breakfast bar in the kitchen at the window would've been nice to enjoy the peaceful view. John's shop opposite is an absolute aladdins cave with everything you could possibly need. The Stiperstones inn also opposite does good food and the locals are welcoming and friendly. Phil took me on a tour of the pub and the toilets, he designed the tiles himself. They are truly a work of art, each cubicle in the ladies has a different theme, the disabled and gents are equally amazing, it's worth going there just to see them, I was blown away! It snowed mid week and on our walks it was like being in Narnia, we took loads of pictures as it was so beautiful, both us and the dogs had a fabulous time. The hot tub was a lovely bonus when we went back to the cottage after a walk. The only problem was the week went to fast! Thank you Phil and Lara.

Had a great stay at the Hayloft! The cottage was clean and very comfortable. We loved having the hot tub to get into every day and the outside space was ideal with a dog. The only issue we had was that we couldnt get any signal on the TV downstairs but the one in the bedroom worked and it didnt affect our stay. Everything else was perfect!

Lovely cottage which is alot bigger than it looks from the outside. Very comfortable with everything you need. The pub across the road 20 stepsis perfect for a couple of ales and lovely food at a discount for people staying in the Hayloft. A very warm welcome with some great people. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent holiday property in a fabulous quiet, rural location for exploring this part of the country. Kites and buzzards flying directly over the garden and curlews occasionally shouting all added to the views in every direction that we could happily live with full time! Beautiful food from a good old English pub directly across the road with friendly locals happy to natter. Enjoyable walks from the doorstep. The Stiperstones themselves are well worth the effort and reached easily from the doorstep. Wind down back at the home from home property or if the weather is kind, stargazing in the hot tub is a must. Plenty of fridge and freezer space if taking your own supplies for the week. Garden secure for dogs. All in all, we hope to return in the future. Thanks for making a most memorable week.

What a little gem of a place. The cottage was lovely and the location ideal. So nice to have the benefit of the hot tub after a day out walking. The cottage had all the facilities you might need including a utility room with a washing machine, dryer and a good size fridge freezer in addition to the kitchen fridge. The courtyard is very secure, even for our little dog who usually finds a way to escape somewhere. Lovely local pub serving good food, and the locals were so welcoming. Great little shop that sells pretty much anything you could want, if he doesn't have something you just need to tell him and it's there the next day. We had such a great time. I'm sure we'll be back again.

The Hayloft had everything we needed for a lovely weekend stay. It was rural & quiet. Lots of walks available. We enjoyed using the hot tub after long walks with the dogs. We were very lucky to have lovely weather, so the little yard & garden furniture was great to relax in. The Hayloft was homely, comfortable & clean.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at The Hayloft. Clean and comfortable accommodation enhanced by beautiful surroundings and hot tub in private garden. On our first morning we awoke to six inches of snow on the ground wonderful! The pub across the road is warm and friendly with excellent food and beer. We didnt go out much due to the ice and snow but want to return to walk the local hills. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had a Fabulous 4 day break at the Hayloft was fantastic and hot tub . And supprise Lemon Drizzle cake from owner from the Stripperstones Inn. Which was brill lovely area lovely local people and Staff at Inn we are Vegetarians menu fantastic. Would recommend and will be coming back again.

We enjoyed are stay at the Hayloft but we were very disappointed with the cleanliness and it is looking very tired. The pub across the road was superb as was the cake on arrival

We spent an excellent week at the Hayloft which had everything we needed. Phil and Lara were away but the Inn staff looked after us and our takeaway meals very well indeed. The weather didnt materialise to be quite as awful as forecast and we were able to do long walks every day to discover this beautiful part of Shropshire we didnt know before such as walking the ridge, the impressive Devils Chair, the Bog lovely tea room to Rhadley Hill, Clun and Bury Ditches Iron Age settlement, Haughmond Abbey, etcThe lemon drizzle cake was so good and milk and bread left for us was a thoughtful touch.

Lovely enclosed garden for the pooch, with the highlight being the hot tub. Stipingstones is a beautiful village with lots of scenic walks and lots to do in the area. This property is a gem. The hot tub is a lovely extra. The property is set in a lovely village, the pub serves food, the food is gorgeous and great value for money. Staying at the Hayloft you get 10 discount at the pub. Walks for Milo where on the doorstep. The views are spectacular. The cottage was immaculate, home from home. On arrival into the cottage the owners had left a beautiful cake, milk and bread. I will be booking again for next year. Highly recommended. The shop next door sells everything you would ever need on holiday. Definitely the wow factor

We had an amazing stay at the Hayloft. It had all the amenities we needed, including a washing machine and dryer. The hot tub was perfect after a long trek. A bonus is the inn next door that has amazing food, and also a small shop. There's a nice enclosed garden for those staying with pooches as well.

This cosy conversion is ideal for a couple. The kitchendining area is well equipped, the small sitting room is comforting and the bedroom has ample drawer space and an adequate builtin wardrobe. The bed itself is large and comfortable and the room has a good view. The secluded hot tub and contained patio garden with barbeque is a bonus. There is a welcoming pub right across the road serving excellent food and its adjoining tiny shop is a department store in miniature. The setting is dramatic and the surrounding area of outstanding natural beauty invites exploration. But don't just believe this... try it for yourselves.

The Hayloft was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Really attentive hosts, we arrived to find milk, bread, and cake left for us which was incredibly thoughtful. We spent every evening in the hot tub, just enjoying the peace. Some of the towels left for us were stained which was disappointing, but overall the cleanliness was good, and the bedroom is so gorgeous. The pub across the road is so friendly, with an unexpectedly large vegetarian menu. I spent all week drinking whinberry gin, so lovely! We took our dogs for beautiful walks right on the doorstep, no need to drive anywhere. Such a lovely area. We fully utilised having the shop across the road, and again were pleasantly surprised at how well stocked it was and the variety of products. We were, however, quite shocked to walk in one day to hear a conversation between a shopkeeper and some locals that was transphobic and quite homophobic. It was made even worse when they tried to include us in this derogatory conversation. Though this has nothing to do with the holiday property, it may be worth noting if you're planning a stay. Again, this is of no fault to the hosts we loved staying at the Hayloft and were sad for our holiday to end. We had such a great time

Lovely haven for two with the added luxury of a hot tub. Basics provided Tea , coffee etc. Milk and homemade cake extra bonus. Pillows were a bit soft personally, so would have liked a firmer choice. The Stiperstones Inn is across the road owners serving fine ales and good food at a reasonable price. Good area to walk or explore by car.

Well proportioned and well equipped, perfect stay for a couple. Hot tub very convenient and ideal for two. Host and pub staff are very helpful and the village shop just opposite is amazingly well stocked. Plenty of stunning views from the surrounding hills. Even a car is not essential as with planning the local bus service and bus stop next to the property can be used.

Fantastic place to stay, absolutely loved it, nice and quiet, very peacefull, everything you need to have a great relax, hot tub is awesome, in all weather, great walks on your doorstep. The pub is literally 20 steps away and have a great menu, and very nice ales and ciders too, very well priced, the shop is also extremely well stocked and again extremely well priced. The locals are very friendly, overall a gem of a place to visit, I would not hesitate to return here again

Great accommodation. Comfy compact with everything you need including a great hot tub. The area is great for walking and driving and the pub run by the Hayloft owner Lara has great and reasonable food. Everything about it fits together well.would highly recommend.
