Perfect accommodation for our group. 7 adults that just needed a base for some R&R and The Cottage was just what we needed. Good size and the open plan downstairs living area made it great for sitting around and chatting the days away. Kitchen was very well appointed with everything we needed to cook meals and a few very thoughtful essentials were left for us in a beautiful welcome basket on our arrival. Sofas were comfy. Beds were very comfy. Showers hot. Slight issue with water pressure if we all showered at once but that’s to be expected in many properties! Hot tub for some extra relaxation. The location was great, easy walk through the back field and in to the local town, passing many pubs along the way. Had no problems getting Ubers for the evening when we didn’t want to walk. The owners left a local area map out for us with some walking routes in which came in handy. Security was a huge bonus; we were a group of 7 females and, although it’s not something we looked for purposely or really gave any thought to, the feeling of being behind the electric gates and feeling so secure was an added bonus. Vanessa, the host, was easy to communicate with to arrange arrival and get keys etc and although we didn’t have any issues to report, I feel that she would have only been a text away if we needed anything. The electronic welcome pack that assent to us prior to our trip was great and had a whole host of information which made planning easy. Thank you for a lovely stay.
