Stabl is one of three properties offering contemporary style within a classic setting, ideal for a couple wanting a romantic break with opportunities of exploring the 300 acres of the Plas Moelfre Estate as well as the surrounding area. An interesting layout awaits you with the open-plan living space lying on the first floor, with views overlooking the open fields, you can begin to prepare the evening meal using the modern kitchen equipped with all the appliances you would have at home and more for an excellent self-catering experience. After you have dined together at the table, take your wine glasses over to the sitting area and snuggle on the plush seating in front of the woodburning stove, before choosing a favourite film on the Smart TV which offers Netflix. Your evenings can also be spent in your private hot tub, relaxing your muscles after a tiring day of walking, where you can stargaze with your loved one. When it's time to head to sleep, move to the ground floor where you will find your wonderful king-size bed, with the benefit of a large and sparkling en-suite bathroom containing a bath and a shower for your luxury. The property itself was okay clean and tidy everything you needed was available. Hot tub was a bit cool and could do with a few new headrests as they were grim. The only safe road out of the place was being resurfaced so had to find alternative route and so was everyone else it got rather busy on the road where we were. Never use Skye cottages again rang them emailed them about my stay and no one has been in touch.

Beautifully renovated cottage, hot tub is a great addition! Good to have an enclosed safe space for our dog.. Owners were helpful and responsive to a small maintenance issue. Really enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay ! Beautiful, comfortable and well equipped tastefully restored in wonderful rural , peaceful setting . Ideally situated to be within easy travelling distance to a number of impressive attractions.We loved relaxing in the jacuzzi after a day out then sleeping in the king size bed ready for the next day's adventure. The owners were most helpful and clearly take great pride in their properties.

The cottage was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was stunning. The welcome basket was greatly appreciated too. We also loved the hot tub and there is a cover over it so you can still use it in the rain. Our dog was made very welcome and the garden is secure. We were lucky to visit in the spring and enjoyed watching the lambs through the upstairs window. All in all it was a great stay with no issues and we would definitely recommend this as a romantic get away for couples.

What a perfect break away, nothing to fault, extremely well quipped for a self catering stay. Beautiful surroundings and enough walks to tire out our over active Doberman. The hot tub was a perfect place to relax after a long day.

Feb2025. We had a wonderfull stay at Stabl plas moelfre hall barns. A beautiful designed cottage. Clean,warm & constant hot water.fully equipped kitchen,tea,coffe sugar,& a welcome pack of free range eggs,welshcake,biscuits & milk.the views were amazing,The hot tub was relaxing under the stars at night.the garden is enclosed &lit up so you dont have to worry about the dog.

Great accommodation. Would recommend the Stabl for a cute weekend get away. We can for our staymoon before we go St Lucia for our honeymoon. Lovely little welcome gifts when we arrived and even some for our dog Sully. The only thing we couldnt find was a local shop so were having to drive 30 minutes out to a supermarket but feel when we were leaving we thought we saw a little local shop at the back of a cottage on the way, but not 100 sure. We use an app called Komoot for our walks and this didnt pick any local, on the doorstep walks, however we did go to Lake Vryn which was lovely and a good day out and the following day we went back and walked to the waterfalls.

We had a really lovely stay at the Stable, the only things to mention was that downstairs was often a lot colder than upstairs even when the thermostats were both set to 18. The can opener didn't work, and there wasn't much equipment for cooking mixing bowls, scales, etc But all in all we would highly recommend! It was a beautiful area, a great place to stay and would happily stay again, thank you so much for having us!

The Stabl was amazing. Me, my wife and dog stayed here for 2 nights to enjoy Christmas Day in the countryside. The place is better than described. The hosts were very kind, providing milk, eggs and mince pies for our arrival. Improvements have been made to the garden since the pictures were taken, the hot tub is now covered with a pergola and a fence has been installed at the top of the garden to ensure dogs cant escape. Will definitely be booking here again!

Such a lovely cottage, converted to a high standard. One of the best I've stayed at in years. Lots of small touchesade it a perfect weekend getaway.

Wonderful stay in this delightful place. Everything that we needed was included. The hot tub was fantastic and loved the new wooden structure which kept the rain and leaves from spoiling our dips. This is the most delightful little house beautifully furnished with absolutely everything provided that you would need for a delightful holiday. The attention to detail is a credit to Lowri and Gwyn who are the most amazing hosts and there is no doubt your enjoyment is their priority. Some nice little welcome gifts left very much appreciated. The area is truly stunning and the walk up the hill behind the house is truly stunning when you get to the top and just take in the beautiful views. The hot tub at the end of the day is a bonus. I will be back to this little house hopefully next year.

The Stabl was exactly as advertised it was amazing everything you need for a perfect break away the views were amazing peaceful yet not far from shops amd restaurants , it was perfectly clean everything in the kitchen you could want the bed was comfortable I can't praise this place enough oh and the hot tub was great too and also perfectly clean. Beautiful property in a stunning location. If you want peace, quiet and tranquility this is the place for you. We wanted for nothing, everything was thought of from the fresh farm eggs and Welsh cakes in the welcome pack, to the pint of milk in the fridge, tea, coffee, sugar and all the cleaning products you would ever need. They missed nothing, even a welcome pack for the dog! The property is clean and fresh, very comfy bed, sofa not so much. The small enclosed garden is lovely, although the wall is lower in some places than others, take care if you have an escape artist! We had a lovely week just relaxing and recharging those batteries, hot tub helped here too! There are things to see and do in the area just be mindful to relax and take time and care on the narrow roads. Well worth a visit, the surrounding countryside is stunning and quiet. We loved it.

Weve had the most wonderful week at Stabl. The house was beautiful and had stunning views.The owners were so lovely! The facilities were great, they really thought of everything to be included down to washing pods, teacoffee etc! The only downside was that the couch wasnt very comfy but we made it work with all the blankets we had taken for our dog. Daisy loved watching the sheep over the road, especially when they moved them and they all went past the house. We had the most wonderful stay and will definitely be recommending to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Had a fab stay at the Stabl. A beautifully equipped and situated cottage with the perfect balance of facilities in a quiet and relaxing setting. Very clean with a high standard of finish as well as those personal touch that make a holiday break memorable. We would highly recommend a stay, it is certainly on our list to return at some point soon!

Absolutely stunning area of natural beauty, the Stabl was very historic but modernised perfectly. The living area being upstairs makes a lot of sence with space available and means that you great a fantastic view of the fields and sheep. Lowri the owner made sure we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived. We have been on 4 break aways of this type and this was the best of all so far, would highly recommend. Beautiful cottage in a stunning area with gorgeous views. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming and they gave us very good advice on perfect dog walks and where to get a lovely roast dinner from. The cottage was extremely clean inside and out. We will definitely be looking to rebook and return to this cottage.

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was a great base for our staycation. We took our dog Hugo and the enclosed garden was perfect. There was a welcome pack for us and Hugo which was a lovely touch. We visited local lakes, waterfalls and drove out to the Porthmadog area. Relaxing in the hot tub after a busy day was just what we needed. We would definitely recommend.

Beautiful views by day and stunning starry night sky in the hot tub at night especially rewarding after a hike to the top of the mountain behind the old barn. The house is warm and cozy. We went to a nearby pub for a delicious meal with a nice community feel. The bed could use a few more pillows and the sofa could be squishier but it turns into a sofabed so all good. Would definitely recommend

Stayed for a week in The Stabl. The barn was immaculately presented and had everything as described. I had the most amazing break in the gorgeous peace, quite and beauty of the area. The hot tub was so relaxing and the star gazing was incredible from the tub. I visited Oswestry 20 minute drive and the Rheadder Waterfall 30 minutes. The waterfall was in full flow after a week of rain and was stunning, both in it's beauty and it's power. I had an amazing week and the owners who live on site are so kind and considerate.

Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone, barn is lovely and couldnt fault anything. Very clean and tidy on arrival, hot tub & log burner are amazing on the cold nights. Owners Lowri & Gwyn are brilliant should you need anything we also got to meet Freddie dog the star of the show ! Very quiet in the local area, lots of wildlife and it gives you a real break from the world. Loads of great walks within 3040mins drive of the barns also your own private mountain behind the barns from which you can see for miles around once at the top Dog friendly we took our Labrador we did read some reviews of the bigger barn not being secure for dogs due to the fence facing the road, during our stay the owners had this replaced with a more secure fence suitable for dogs. We will certainly be back !!

Fantastic accommodation! We absolutely loved our stay, perfect little cottage for 2 and a dog. The facilities were great, everything we needed!

The property is wonderful, clean and plenty of good kitchen utensils and crockery etc. The place is beautiful and is a good base for exploring the area, we loved it and would recommend.

The property was very clean just needs some touching up in areas also the seating in the lounge was not comfortable too sit on for us I understand this may be a personal preference too us but it really isnt comfy. Bit remote for our liking and the road is very hairy getting there but all in all we had a lovely stay apart from the weather.
