The Nook is a two-bedroom holiday lodge in the heart of Whitchurch, Shropshire. This converted property has a unique entrance through an original church door that immediately sets it apart. Perfect for town-lovers who hate driving everywhere - shops and pubs are literally minutes away on foot!

The location is brilliant. Whitchurch town centre is a short walk with loads of independent shops and proper pubs. No need for designated drivers or expensive taxis! The surrounding Shropshire countryside offers fantastic walks and outdoor activities. The fully enclosed garden is perfect for dogs - they can run about safely while you sip wine in the hot tub (multitasking at its finest).

Accommodation includes one king-size bedroom upstairs with its own TV and a ground-floor twin that can be converted to a super-king if needed (also with TV - no fighting over what to watch!). There's a ground-floor bathroom with bath and shower, a well-equipped kitchen, conservatory/dining room and a sitting room with a woodburning stove for cosy evenings.

The place was in a great location for exploring both Whitchurch itself and getting out to walks. The hot tub and log fire were great. The shower and kitchen tap did have some temperature issues as stated on other reviews. I personally would like to see an extra lock on the gate from the inside so it feels slightly more secure especially as a single traveller for half of my week. Otherwise I had a great stay here and look forward to booking again

We had a fantastic time at The Nook, Alison was extremely accommodating nothing was too much trouble. We found it very relaxing, the lounge was lovely and cosy for an Autumnal evening and the Hot Tub was perfect! Would 100 recommend to friends and family.

My family & I had a wonderful stay at The Nook for my Mum's 60th. It was the perfect location for accessing lots of nearby places like Wales & The Wirral. The house itself is right near 2 supermarkets and there is lots of parking. The design and facilities in the house were fabulous. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Would recommend The Nook 100 Alison was the perfect host very friendly and helpful. The beds were extremely comfortable, close to local shopscafestakeaway's and the hot tub was amazing. Will definitely return in the future, hopefully sooner rather than later.

We had a great stay at The Nook. The owners Alison and Roger had left us a bottle of Prosecco to enjoy with our friends as well as some dog treats for our two dogs. The Nook is well appointed and very comfortable and there is plenty of room for four adults and two dogs to relax in. Whitchurch is a lovely little town in a great location to explore an area that was new to us. We had lovely walks along the canal to Grindley Brook where we enjoyed coffee and cake at the cafe by the locks as well as an excellent meal at the nearby Horse and Jockey. Shrewsbury and Chester are only 45 minutes away by car and we also had several good walks with the dogs much closer to Whitchurch. All told it was an excellent week and we highly recommend The Nook for anyone looking to stay in this area. PS the week of wall to wall sunshine, blue skies and warm temperatures were an added bonus

The property is in a lovely village in Shropshire with plenty of facilities and amenities. Its is in walking distance to the local churches pubs and canal. The property is well maintained and the sun room is stunning with the roof lights at night. The lounge is cozy in winter but cool in springsummer having stayed during both seasons. Alison and Roger the owners were again very accommodating and a pleasure to stay with.

Brilliant place to stay, had a fantastic break and really good spot to branch out into different places. So clean, the comfiest beds and the hot tub was used extensively! Will definitely return with Alison and Rogers hospitality!

The Nook is a great little cottage right in the heart of Whitchurch along with the bonus of a hot tub. Although it is well positioned for the town, it is still a very quiet cottage to stay in. We enjoyed our stay here but would have liked to have had a freezer which puzzles me why one is not provided. The owner did offer to store our frozen foods but we managed. Plenty of places to visit in the town and surrounding areas. But overall a nice comfortable cottage.

Made welcome from the moment we arrived , nothing was any trouble very nice having the little finishing touches , bottle of wine , cake and even treats for the dog . Everything was on the doorstep and a nice little town . Hot tub was amazing enjoyed our stay very much.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cosy property. The Nook has everything needed for a relaxing break. The hot tub was fab, really powerful jets. The garden was safe and secure for our little dog, and the park is only a few minutes walk away. You have everything you need to either cater for yourselves in the property or, if you prefer to eat out, there are an abundance of eateries, pubs and cafes. Whitchurch is a lovely place and we particularly liked the independent shops. We hope to visit again soon.

I would and have 100 recommend the nock to anyone looking for somewhere to stay. Whitchurch is a beautiful town also lots to do if you wish but for us as a family we just loved being in the Nook. The best 50th birthday present. Can not wait to stay again.

The Nook exceeded our expectations! From the moment we walked in we felt right at home. The property is spacious and well thought out, with gorgeous features and beautiful dcor. The lounge felt luxurious and comfy. Being newly renovated everything is brand new and in lovely condition with all needs being taken care of, from a coffee machine to an icemaker. We found it peaceful, quiet and relaxing. The jacuzzi was the icing on the cake! We were looking for a central location, that made the town and local nature spots accessible and The Nook was absolutely perfect! Cant wait to come again.

We loved the place. The cottage is very close to whitchurch town centre easy to walk to with the town having a lot of independent shops and pubs. Lovelly walks near by. We arrived a hour early and were permitted to enter The Nook early There was no welcome pack. The banister to the first floor bedroom came off the wall. My husband fell and twisted his knee. The stairs are very steep. The TV internet dropped The owners live above and were decorating and it was extremely noisy Day and evening
