We really enjoyed our stay! The place has a lovely, cosy vibe perfect for unwinding after a busy summer. The beds were super comfy and the house stayed warm throughout. We loved the modern look of the rooms and the hot tub was a hit with our foster child. Even though we only had 5 of us plus a baby, it never felt cramped. Sadly, the weather wasn't great for the BBQ, but overall, it was a great experience!

We cannot recommend this cottage enough! We had the best weekend celebrating my boyfriend's 30th here, it is such an amazing lodge in such a beautiful locationand there is so much to do nearby! Perfect for all ages! We will definitely book again! It has everything you could want and the hot tube is massive! We really appreciated all the little personal touches too, the owners truly went the extra mile! Honestly one of the best weekends we've ever had! We cannot thank Mr & Mrs Sheppard enough!

We had a fantastic 5 night stay over the Christmas period! Honestly, we can't fault anything about the lodge or the beautiful setting. Three generations enjoyed a brilliant time, making the most of the facilities like the hot tub and the tennis/football court. All you really need to bring is yourself because everything else is provided. We'll definitely be rebooking at some point!
