We recently stayed in this lovely barn conversionand honestly, it had everything we needed. The kids loved the toys, booksand games - kept them busy for hours! The log fire made the place super cosy, especially with the free logs from the shed. The outdoor space is a real highlight, with a play house, wooden castleand a river where you can spot a tree house and even badgers at night. We explored the vast 200 acres of farmland, visiting the animals and soaking up the peaceful Welsh countryside. Having a private hot tub and a games room was perfect for some family fun. The hosts were lovely and welcoming, even leaving homemade shortbread - yum! We'd definitely come back, no doubt about it!

The cottage had everything we neededand the hot tub and raised deck were perfect spots for relaxing and watching the birds. There are some great walks right outsideand Rhayader's only a quick drive for cafes and shops. We're definitely planning to come back next year, it's a gem!
