We had such a lovely holiday in this cottage. It was beautifully clean, looked newly updated and comfortable. We felt very welcomed by Alison and Martin. It was also a lovely surprise to find ground coffee, milk, prosecco, orange juice and Welsh cakes in the fridge. Would highly recommend this cottage.
Beautiful, comfortable and well appointed cottage. Location is excellent with a very good pub serving food all day every day, chinese takeaway, pizza takeaway and shop all within walking distance. Much appreciated the settling in extras and the heating boost since the weather took a cool turn. Will definitely return and would recommend this cottage with no hesitation whatsoever.

Absolutely beautiful cottage in a good location to explore the area. Lovely outside space to enjoy the hot tub with dressing gowns and towels provided. Owners friendly and helpful and a bonus they ran the caf and gift shop next door. The pub next door also great for a meal. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Refreshingly spacious for a holiday cottage that caters for 2 people, and for that we were very impressed. The exterior belies what is experienced on entering the property. The interior is stylish, contemporary and very comfortable. It is decorated and furnished to a high standard, with nothing lacking. It is in a good location for Aberystwyth, the Coastal Path and areas of natural beauty such as Ynyslas Nature Reserve and Ynyshir Nature Reserve.
Llygad y Dydd is a tastefully decorated and wellequipped modern cottage that we found to be very relaxing. The bed is large and comfortable, which is essential for a successful holiday. Alison and Martin, the owners, were helpful and generously provided a variety of much appreciated goodies to help us settle in. The garden is a private space that is not overlooked which would surely be welcomed by users of the hot tub. We have enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to any couple looking for a welcome break.

What a great cottage for 2 people, lots of room and all fixtures and fittings of a very high quality. Lovely bathroom and outdoor hot tub, the large bed is very warm and comfortable. Lovely pub next door and nice chinese takeaway just down the road. Close to many small seaside towns, i definatly reccomend this property.

Have had a great stay here,the cottage was really lovely, The hosts Alison and Martin were very welcoming nothing too much trouble. They have a lovely Craft Shop and Cafe,we did eat there a few times. Food really really good,Amy their Daughter and rest of the staff were very polite and courteous,We would definitely recommend a stay here and the Hot Tub was nice and relaxing. What a find! We loved our short stay at the luxurious and so comfortable property. It has the wow factor as soon as you walk through the door and the bedroom and bathroom are just stunning. The owners have included so many thoughtful details like outdoor towels, a shelf above the hot tub and plastic glasses for your drinks!. The location next to the craft shop and cafe is brilliant as you can just walk round the corner and have an amazing cooked breakfast or tea and cake. This was the perfect base for our short trip to Aberystwyth and we would love to come back again for a longer stay.
We have stayed for 3 nights and it was absolutely amazing experience. Spacious, nicely decorated, well equipped property. Hot tub provides well deserved relaxations after a long day out exploring surroundings. Definitely a place to come back.
